I downloaded some additional rock band 3 songs onto my sd card (through the rockband store) a while back. Can I still play those songs if I boot rock band 3 through my USB loader (cfg loader)? I have an sd card for my homebrew channel and a different one for the songs. Page 1 of 2 - Emu/virtual nand help! - posted in Custom Song Troubleshooting & Support: I have tried ever combination, permutation, and every set up I can find to get an emu nand set up that can play rock band 3. Nothing works. Ive tried the solutions on the forms here as well, but to no avail.
So I hacked me wii a couple of days ago to get rockband dlc. So to even download dlc I have to run rockband 3 through usb loader gx. I can play the disc normally without usb loader once dlc is installed though.
Now I wanna do custom songs but to run the custom songs I have to run the game using ios249. The only way I know to do that is through usb loader gx which is what I do for dlc. The problem is I can't use usb controllers through usb loader so the game is unplayable.
Ive tried using priiloader to force games to run using ios249 but when I do that I just get a blue screen that says error 002 when I try to run rockband 3.
Tldr: I need help either running games using ios249 and not using usb loader, or I need help getting usb controllers to work using usb loader.
Edit: So I narrowed down my problem more. I got the system menu to run using ios249 and the songs worked. I now know that my problem is that usb devices do not work for me using ios249.
So my main question is, how do I get ios249 to work with usb devices.
Edit 2: So I got it working? I reinstalled ios249 and 250 then set usb loader itself to run using 250 but set rockband to ios223 and now it works.
It also now works without usb loader too. I just set the system menu to run under ios250 and force disks to run under ios249 in priiloader. Now I can download songs without an error and use customs too. Problem solved woo.
Also I plugged the usb controllers into the top usb port when the switch is laying flat. I tried that before but it didn't do anything but idk if that's important.
